A day after Windows 8 was RTM’d, its “Enterprise N” edition has been leaked and available on various torrent and warez sites. As it is “N” edition of Windows 8 and comes sans Windows Media Player.
WinBeta.org reported earlier that a torrent (MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.ENTERPRISE-N.RTM.X64.VOLUMN.ENGLISH.NON_BOOT_DVD-SAMOVARWZT) claiming to be Windows 8 Enterprise N for x64 machines, is raising doubts as relatively small size of the torrent file weighing 2.83 GB.

But its confirmed that its Enterprise N edition of Windows 8 RTM Build 9200 (Build 6.2.9200.16384) and is being served as compress RAR archive file weighing 2.83GB (after extraction 3.22 GB). Though its not a bootable source but packed with all files and require some work to install it via USB stick or ISO/DVD.
The OS is all set to debut publicly on October 26 and the earliest release date set for developers is August 15 and it is quite imminent.
N edition of Windows was introduced after an European Union in 2004 ruled that Microsoft needed to provide a copy of Windows without the Windows Media Player bundled with it.
