Well that didn’t take long. Notorious Russian leaker WZOR is reporting that Windows Server 2012 has now leaked to the web, less than a day after Windows 8 RTM Enterprise N was hit torrents and file sharing websites.
Reportedly it is an “official” Microsoft image weighing 3.23 GB and includes Standard and Datacenter editions. As of now we have setup screenshot, though we’re going through this story and we’ll let you know what we find as soon as we’re ready.
Microsoft always tried to prevent such leaks but they had no luck; so the history is repeating itself again.
For those who is waiting for official release, the Redmond giant plans to schedule a formal online launch event on September 4th, while MSDN/TechNet subscribers will get their hands on August 15th.
