Yesterday, Mozilla released stable version of Firefox 16.0 which is now publicly available for download. The new Firefox is designed to deliver faster, more secure and satisfactory experience of web browsing to its users.

What’s new in this release

  • Primary VoiceOver support has been turned on by default for Mac OS X.
  • Initial web app support for Windows, Mac and Linux.
  • JavaScript responsiveness improvements through incremental garbage collection.
  • New Developer Toolbar has been included with buttons for quick access to tools, error count for the Web Console, and a new command line for quick keyboard access.
  • It includes unprefixed CSS3 Animations, Transitions, Transforms and Gradients.
  • Implements listing of the recently opened files in Scratchpad.
