At Sans Francisco, Microsoft shared the latest Windows Phone Marketplace stats reaching 100,000 Apps milestone for Windows Phone 7 yesterday and they did it faster than Android.
The marketplace reached the 100,000 app level in just 35 days after marking 90,000 app level last month. The pace clearly indicates – approx. 285 apps are being published every day.

While marking the milestone, the Redmond giant has also confirmed that Zynga games’ Words with Friends and Draw Something will be available in near future; however the company didn’t share a particular date of availability at the event.
To celebrate the moment, Microsoft is offering one the ability to purchase 100,000 apps and counting merchandise from the Windows Phone Gear Store.
