Update: Rovio released the game with title Bad Piggies that features the same character as in Angry Birds.
Rovio is reportedly planning a game that will let you play from the perspective of the pigs. The game is expected to be released before Christmas this year.
Pocket-lint revealed in a post:
The idea of the new game will see you trying to protect the eggs you’ve grabbed from the birds, but still feature a catapult and the now famous wooden and stone structures.
The game, which is expected to be available sometime before Christmas, will feature a number of different pigs and -like the birds in Angry Birds – they will come with different strengths and skill sets.
Rovio’s new Pig based game
As we observed – the mission of the game would be to protect eggs from oncoming birds in a traditional game setup. However, how gameplay would work is still not clear.
Until now, Rovio always came up with virgin ideas and so far their last release Angry Birds Space was a huge success. Will a Pig version have the same impact on audience; it would be interesting to watch. What you say?
