According to the recent published article on LiveSide, Office 15 Beta will have 3 Agave Apps.
Task Pane for Office – A Task Pane is added adjacent to document through which user will be able to access more functionality for Word and Excel. These apps are available in Office 2013 only (not in Office Web App).
For example, dictionary and references apps like Britannica, or Merriam-Webster will make searching easier than before. You can see Bing News Search app in below screenshot, this will allow user to easily find relevant content and insert then into document directly.
Content app for Excel – By using this, the user will be able to add functionality to the body of Excel document. These apps will work on Excel 2013 as well as Excel Web App.
Below screenshot shows how user can put data on maps according to the used location in their spreadsheet.
Mail app for Office – Using this, more content and functionality can be added to Outlook item. These apps will require Outlook 2013 or Outlook Web App connected to Exchange 2013.
